Installation is as usual smooth except my printer Epson C58 was not detected.
Multimedia :
Sabayon comes pre-loaded with all the required codecs. I was able to view DVD, listen mp3 files, watch windows media files.So, it is handy for all beginners who just want to try something better than windows.

Another outstanding release. I'll prefer you give try to this distro then you know its worthiness.The distro has everything for daily use or if you are a gamer then this distro will be ideal for you.

I had tried Sabayon earlier but this is so fast I can't imagine may be because of EXT4 file system.

ReplyDeleteI understand that the default format for Sabayon 5 partitions is ext4, but the NiLFS site www.nilfs.org/en/download.html mentions that "nilfs-utils is available in the official Gentoo package. (x86 and x86_64). [as of] April 19, 2009.
